Acelerar los cambios en educación

Por bien de la sociedad debemos acelerar los cambios en la educación. Los profesores debemos ser MOTOR de cambio. Debemos afrontar los cambios que necesita nuestra sociedad y trabajar para ello. Si no GESTIONAMOS el cambio nosotros, ¿a qué esperamos?

En el voluntariado esta mañana tengo un alumno que está en diversificación en lengua…. pero en inglés va a clase y no avanza. Me planteo ir a ver a su profesora y hablar con ella, porque hoy revisando 3 ESO con él, no sabe lo que significa ‘bad’, ‘do’, ‘make’, ‘upload’, …. He alucinado bastante porque esto no puede estar ocurriendo en los colegios de Madrid.

El valor del conocimiento es una variante que debemos tener en cuenta si queremos conseguir metas a corto y largo plazo con los alumnos. Hay que trabajar por el desarrollo intelectual práctico…. y por el bilinguismo…… ¿Cómo estos alumnos podrán labrar su futuro o ‘buscarse la vida’? OMG! Queda tanto por hacer!!

Por el contrario, este alumno obtiene ‘SOBRESALIENTE’ en Educación Física.. El peso de la balanza está descompensado. Aquí me asaltan todo tipo de preguntas.. Por suerte, podré seguir ayudando a este alumno esta semana…  Trataré de averiguar dónde está el fallo y os lo contaré…. ¿No es verdad que nuestra labor como profesores es un reto hacia LO IMPOSIBLE?

Sin duda, el factor humano entra en juego aquí. La labor de apoyo de un tutor o de otro alumno que sea pareja de iguales en el estudio le habría ayudado a avanzar a este alumno. Como todos, este alumno necesita ‘sentirse bien’ aprendiendo. Y aquí una vez volvemos a las emociones. Los expertos lo llaman EMOTIVE FILTER, y todos aprendemos cuando estamos motivados. No se puede obviar lo importante!
